Serious Personal Injury Litigation - Quantum Updated to 2021 - A fifteen year review of reported judgments and trends in big cases
James Rowley was one of the first juniors to join Byrom Street Chambers in 2004. He took Silk in 2006 and continues his mixed claimant and defendant practice in personal injuries and clinical negligence litigation. For the first time since JPIL 109, his long running review of the damages awarded in serious personal injury cases is available in print. The tabular presentation of the awards is still there, with updated commentary including Swift v Carpenter. There are new tables of contents and case references to aid navigation.
